Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 2.12%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.38% or 3.65 points to trade at 111.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:) added 3.06% or 32.60 points to end at 1,099.40 and Demant A/S (CSE:) was up 2.16% or 6.10 points to 288.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Royal Unibrew A/S (CSE:), which fell 0.36% or 2.20 points to trade at 610.00 at the close. Orsted A/S (CSE:) declined 0.34% or 2.20 points to end at 644.80 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 0.31% or 1.60 points to 518.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 97 to 41 and 32 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.45% or 1.01 to $70.87 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.54% or 1.15 to hit $75.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 6.65 to trade at $1,924.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.82, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.42% at 102.58.
