Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the gained 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the were Pandora A/S (CSE:), which rose 3.63% or 22.20 points to trade at 633.80 at the close. Meanwhile, AP Moeller – Maersk A/S A (CSE:) added 2.70% or 330.00 points to end at 12,560.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/S B (CSE:) was up 2.42% or 300.00 points to 12,700.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:), which fell 1.02% or 11.00 points to trade at 1,070.00 at the close. ISS A/S (CSE:) declined 0.86% or 1.25 points to end at 144.10 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 0.61% or 3.20 points to 520.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 66 and 25 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.02% or 1.41 to $71.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.93% or 1.44 to hit $76.09 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.29% or 5.60 to trade at $1,935.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 102.62.
