Cunard enhances 2024 Alaska voyages with expert speakers

VALENCIA, Calif. – Cunard, the luxury British cruise line, has expanded its partnership with the Royal Canadian Geographical Society (RCGS) to offer an enriched speaker lineup for its 2024 Alaska season, starting June 21. The collaboration features an RCGS speaker on each voyage, aiming to provide guests with a deeper understanding of the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
The onboard program, part of Cunard’s Insights™ enrichment series, will include presentations from a diverse group of experts, such as explorers, naturalists, and indigenous advocates. Notable speakers include wilderness adventurers Brian and Dee Keating, astronaut Andrew Fuestel, and award-winning filmmaker Patricia Sims, among others. These experts will curate exclusive content for Cunard’s guests throughout the June to September voyages.
In addition to the RCGS speakers, Cunard has enlisted a variety of specialists to enhance the Alaskan experience. These include Alex Debogorski of “Ice Road Truckers,” record-breaking polar explorer Preet Chandi, and multiple Everest summiter Kenton Cool. Cultural insights will also be provided by Native Cultural Heritage Guides from Alaska Native Voices on all voyages.
