Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the rose 0.77%.

The best performers of the session on the were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.14% or 7.26 points to trade at 182.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:) added 3.93% or 81.00 points to end at 2,142.00 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 3.82% or 5.85 points to 159.20 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were ISS A/S (CSE:), which fell 1.06% or 1.25 points to trade at 116.95 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:) declined 0.77% or 6.40 points to end at 827.40 and Tryg A/S (CSE:) was down 0.75% or 1.10 points to 145.90.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 58 and 19 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.73% or 0.56 to $76.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.50% or 0.41 to hit $81.88 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.80 to trade at $2,041.80 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.80, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 102.86.
