Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the added 1.32%.
The best performers of the session on the were Ambu A/S (CSE:), which rose 4.75% or 4.75 points to trade at 104.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Orsted A/S (CSE:) added 3.59% or 22.60 points to end at 652.40 and GN Store Nord (CSE:) was up 3.32% or 5.35 points to 166.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Genmab (CSE:), which fell 0.90% or 23.00 points to trade at 2,531.00 at the close. Tryg A/S (CSE:) declined 0.90% or 1.35 points to end at 148.00 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:) was down 0.16% or 0.80 points to 509.40.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 78 to 60 and 23 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.17% or 1.47 to $69.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.94% or 1.41 to hit $73.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.10 to trade at $1,920.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.47% at 102.61.
