Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 0.50%.
The best performers of the session on the were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which rose 4.33% or 35.10 points to trade at 845.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:) added 3.93% or 17.70 points to end at 467.70 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.26% or 167.00 points to 5,288.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mizrahi Tefahot (TASE:), which fell 0.88% or 110.00 points to trade at 12,390.00 at the close. Nova (TASE:) declined 0.83% or 350.00 points to end at 41,910.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.80% or 600.00 points to 74,300.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 268 to 204 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.89% or 1.32 to $71.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.81% or 1.35 to hit $76.00 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 3.55 to trade at $1,933.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.27% to 3.70, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.11% to 4.04.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.67.
