Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 0.63%.
The best performers of the session on the were Energix (TASE:), which rose 5.79% or 58.00 points to trade at 1,059.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ormat Technologies (TASE:) added 2.88% or 890.00 points to end at 31,840.00 and Leumi (TASE:) was up 2.34% or 63.00 points to 2,750.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.62% or 60.00 points to trade at 2,230.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:) declined 1.85% or 1,950.00 points to end at 103,500.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 1.34% or 77.00 points to 5,672.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 288 to 169 and 24 ended unchanged.
Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 2.62% or 60.00 to 2,230.00. Shares in Israel Corp (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.85% or 1,950.00 to 103,500.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.75% or 0.58 to $77.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.80% or 0.65 to hit $81.46 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.24% or 25.00 to trade at $1,994.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.36% to 3.66, while EUR/ILS rose 0.57% to 4.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 101.43.
