Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.35% or 500.00 points to trade at 15,410.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Nova (TASE:) added 3.04% or 1,090.00 points to end at 36,890.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.95% or 80.00 points to 2,796.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which fell 6.15% or 192.00 points to trade at 2,929.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.26% or 62.00 points to end at 1,841.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.73% or 28.00 points to 997.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 202 and 49 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.26% or 0.19 to $71.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.36% or 0.27 to hit $75.59 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.03% or 20.10 to trade at $1,979.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.29% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS rose 0.38% to 3.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 103.07.
