Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the were Bank Hapoalim (TASE:), which rose 1.37% or 43.00 points to trade at 3,193.00 at the close. Meanwhile, First International Bank of Israel Ltd (TASE:) added 1.36% or 170.00 points to end at 12,650.00 and Airport City Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.12% or 52.00 points to 4,690.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:), which fell 5.36% or 159.00 points to trade at 2,810.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:) declined 4.27% or 45.00 points to end at 1,010.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was down 3.89% or 95.00 points to 2,345.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 246 to 206 and 32 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 5.36% or 159.00 to 2,810.00. Shares in ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.89% or 95.00 to 2,345.00.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.94% or 2.01 to $66.93 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.99% or 2.23 to hit $72.47 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 3.68% or 70.70 to trade at $1,993.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.67, while EUR/ILS rose 0.85% to 3.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 103.52.
