Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 1.03%.

The best performers of the session on the were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:), which rose 0.19% or 5.00 points to trade at 2,575.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Discount Bank Ltd (TASE:) added 0.05% or 1.00 points to end at 1,875.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) was up 0.03% or 1.00 points to 3,625.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Nova (TASE:), which fell 4.22% or 1,920.00 points to trade at 43,540.00 at the close. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 3.67% or 113.00 points to end at 2,970.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.92% or 159.00 points to 5,295.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 321 to 137 and 46 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.27% or 0.22 to $83.04 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.38% or 0.33 to hit $86.73 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.16% or 3.20 to trade at $1,945.70 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was up 0.31% to 3.73, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.00% to 4.08.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 102.73.
