Netherlands stocks lower at close of trade; AEX down 0.80% By Investing.com
Investing.com – Netherlands stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Amsterdam, the fell 0.80%.
The best performers of the session on the were DSM Firmenich AG (AS:), which rose 1.48% or 1.80 points to trade at 123.65 at the close. Meanwhile, ASM International NV (AS:) added 0.68% or 4.00 points to end at 589.40 and ArcelorMittal SA (AS:) was up 0.47% or 0.11 points to 23.54 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Exor NV (AS:), which fell 3.85% or 3.85 points to trade at 96.15 at the close. Wolters Kluwer (AS:) declined 2.26% or 3.50 points to end at 151.30 and Akzo Nobel NV (AS:) was down 1.71% or 1.10 points to 63.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange by 61 to 39 and 9 ended unchanged.
Shares in DSM Firmenich AG (AS:) rose to all time highs; gaining 1.48% or 1.80 to 123.65.
The , which measures the implied volatility of AEX options, was unchanged 0.00% to 21.09.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.03% or 0.70 to $68.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.01% or 0.72 to hit $72.26 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.44% or 11.70 to trade at $2,656.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.18% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.36% to 0.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 100.37.
