Poland stocks higher at close of trade; WIG30 up 1.93% By Investing.com
Investing.com – Poland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Warsaw, the added 1.93%.
The best performers of the session on the were Alior Bank SA (WA:), which rose 4.37% or 3.82 points to trade at 91.22 at the close. Meanwhile, Powszechna Kasa Oszczednosci Bank Polski SA (WA:) added 3.87% or 2.16 points to end at 57.96 and Dino Polska SA (WA:) was up 3.68% or 12.20 points to 343.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Grupa KĘTY SA (WA:), which fell 1.69% or 11.50 points to trade at 669.00 at the close. Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:) declined 0.92% or 0.03 points to end at 3.67 and Enea SA (WA:) was down 0.81% or 0.09 points to 11.05.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 252 to 246 and 116 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.72% or 1.89 to $71.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.49% or 1.82 to hit $74.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 1.85 to trade at $2,747.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was down 0.13% to 4.35, while USD/PLN fell 0.61% to 4.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.47% at 103.72.
