Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.19% By Investing.com
Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.19% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Thimar Development Holding Co (TADAWUL:), which rose 9.89% or 1.30 points to trade at 14.44 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Steel Pipe Company (TADAWUL:) added 5.12% or 4.20 points to end at 86.20 and Arabian Pipes Company (TADAWUL:) was up 5.06% or 8.80 points to 182.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:), which fell 9.91% or 3.90 points to trade at 35.45 at the close. Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) declined 7.96% or 2.65 points to end at 30.65 and Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:) was down 7.23% or 2.50 points to 32.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 206 to 84 and 18 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.11% or 0.09 to $83.66 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.42% or 0.37 to hit $88.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.30% or 7.10 to trade at $2,349.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.01, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.48% at 105.96.
