Saudi Arabia stocks lower at close of trade; Tadawul All Share down 0.82% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the lost 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.

The best performers of the session on the were Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (TADAWUL:), which rose 6.39% or 0.68 points to trade at 11.32 at the close. Meanwhile, Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) added 5.57% or 6.60 points to end at 125.00 and Saudi Cable Company (TADAWUL:) was up 5.35% or 3.80 points to 74.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:), which fell 7.11% or 2.55 points to trade at 33.30 at the close. International Company for Water and Power Projects (ACWA Power) (TADAWUL:) declined 6.87% or 31.00 points to end at 420.00 and Bawan (TADAWUL:) was down 5.78% or 2.70 points to 44.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 171 to 110 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (TADAWUL:) rose to 5-year highs; rising 5.57% or 6.60 to 125.00.

Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.27% or 0.22 to $83.03 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.24% or 0.21 to hit $88.23 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 3.60 to trade at $2,342.00 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.02, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 105.75.
