Spain stocks higher at close of trade; IBEX 35 up 0.33% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Spain stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Madrid, the added 0.33%.

The best performers of the session on the were Sacyr SA (BME:), which rose 1.96% or 0.06 points to trade at 3.12 at the close. Meanwhile, Banco de Sabadell SA (BME:) added 1.64% or 0.03 points to end at 1.86 and Ferrovial (BME:) was up 1.20% or 0.48 points to 40.54 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Fluidra (BME:), which fell 0.92% or 0.22 points to trade at 23.72 at the close. SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:) declined 0.37% or 0.03 points to end at 8.01 and Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BME:) was down 0.32% or 0.03 points to 9.27.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Madrid Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares in SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE (BME:) fell to 3-years lows; down 0.37% or 0.03 to 8.01.

Gold Futures for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $2,633.50 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $70.10 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 1.24% or 0.90 to trade at $73.22 a barrel.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.04, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.83.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 108.00.
