Sweden stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Stockholm 30 down 1.00% By Investing.com
Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the declined 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:), which rose 1.46% or 2.20 points to trade at 149.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:) added 0.45% or 1.20 points to end at 266.30 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:) was down 0.10% or 0.10 points to 100.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:), which fell 3.08% or 6.50 points to trade at 204.70 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:) declined 2.77% or 1.50 points to end at 51.90 and Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:) was down 2.55% or 2.65 points to 101.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 472 to 270 and 84 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 4.31% or 3.02 to $73.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 4.09% or 3.02 to hit $76.92 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.35 to trade at $2,669.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 11.37, while USD/SEK rose 0.55% to 10.32.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.38% at 101.81.
